Mark your calendars for the 2011 Western Region Conference! Plan to meet us in Austin for three days of outstanding keynote presenters, timely and relevant educational sessions and networking with colleagues in your region. Check back in January for full conference details and registration information.
On July 1, the Northwest Region and most of the states in the Southwest Region joined to form the Western Region of CUPA-HR, a shift in structure that will strengthen both the region and the association. Southwest Region states Arkansas and Oklahoma are now part of CUPA-HR's Southern Region.

Our member institutions include private colleges, public universities, community colleges, technical colleges, university system offices, research universities, medical colleges and other professional schools. We’re as diverse as we are similar.
As diverse as our region is, and no matter what our positions or institutional affiliations are, we have in common the practice of human resources at institutions of higher education. The Western Region offers unique networking and professional development opportunities designed to meet the needs of practitioners in Western colleges and universities. Research, public policy information, technical assistance and product innovations are available to our members as well.
