The Southern Region of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources is a professional association that serves member institutions and human resource professionals with developmental opportunities and technical assistance for the effective management of human resources. The organization exists to facilitate the exchange of ideas, to conduct research and analysis, and to transmit information which will enhance the state of the art as well as professional growth and development.

Nominations for the 2009 Southern Region Awards are now open. These awards will be given at the 2009 CUPA-HR Southern Region Conference in Louisville, Kentucky. The deadline to submit nominations is January 26, 2009.

Did You Know?
- Welcome Arkansas and Oklahoma CUPA-HR chapters to the Southern Region. CUPA-HR officially reorganized the regions effected July 1. Arkansas and Oklahoma joins us from the SWCUPA-HR region.
- Congratulations Georgia CUPA-HR! They will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary July 26th
