Nominations for the 2009 Eastern Region Awards are now open. These awards will be given at the 2009 CUPA-HR Eastern Region Conference in Providence, Rhode Island. The deadline to submit nominations is December 15, 2008.

Our member institutions include private colleges, public universities, community colleges, technical colleges, university system offices, research universities, medical colleges, and other professional schools in Connecticut; Delaware; District of Columbia; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; New Hampshire; New Jersey; New York; Pennsylvania; Rhode Island; Vermont; New Brunswick, Canada; Newfoundland, Canada; Nova Scotia, Canada; and Quebec, Canada. As diverse as our region is, and no matter what our positions or institutional affiliations are, we have in common the practice of human resources at institutions of higher education. The Eastern Region offers unique networking and professional development opportunities designed to meet the needs of practitioners in Eastern colleges and universities. Research, public policy information, technical assistance, and product innovations are available to members as well.
